Faces: of Worcester
The community that examines how it treats those with(out) is the one which survives and thrives.
Photo and a Poem, inspired by real life events this past winter of 2024, as they happened.

Out of the freezing wind.
Forgive me father, for I have sinned.
Not making enough.
No place to put any
Of my stuff.
No life, no love, no shame.
No ID, no address, no known name.
City of homeless,
Faces of Worcester.

This photograph above, and the others which are also part of Faces of Worcester, which is a series of photos taken by the artist, photographer, while out in the city of her residence.
Sarah e. Brown [paralegals and lawyers sometimes refer to their self in third person] while being in the city she lives in, as well as searching for her sister, who is sometimes homeless and not always available for her to call, readily, and reliably. These photos and other art projects, or art pieces like it raise awareness about the issues the subject is experiencing, and the plan is to make a book of such photos, and perhaps an exhibit.

Faces of Worcester is a non-profit sector of business within the scope of S-MMassCo, and includes the following, which are goals and a plan:
Plan and goals include talking to the city about a space to form the following:
- Sheds, with solar heating and cooling, and an area for composting toilets and free showering.
- Area with the above, also to include meals and water available, generated power for charging phones, and some other availabilities of basic amenities.
- Garden and manual washing and drying of clothing or blanket type items, as well as a post address of some kind for those who need to order documents and receive those documents in order to gain transitional assistance, which would lead to housing, and other supportive resources.
- Continual support for those in the area which is described would be decided later but the beginning, to help those most in need would include:
- A place to put 12 people, at least, to start, is the request, and that would theoretically assist those most in need. The request will come from S-MMassCo, to the city of Worcester, to raise the lowest living standard of those in the city, or right around, to an acceptable level, immediately.
- This request will come through formally, and soon, and will include a request for a grant, as well, to be able to continue to do this, with or without investment, given that S-MMassCo has looked at and is aware of over $358,000.00 which has been given to the city to assist with such issues, and with less than $50,000.00, S-MMassCo could make more progress with less waste, monetarily, than is currently occurring.
First Photo, in the series: Faces of Worcester

Faces of Worcester.
Started with the photograph above, the first one taken in the series, which is a homeless couple which were sleeping in the church doorway near my apartment building, on weeknights, which was sad to see, all the belongings and food, the only place, which was available, on nights when the church was not open, and would not be open the next day. The man in the photograph was and is very nice and has never been a problem in the neighborhood.
The arts raise awareness in general, about issues which are very important. The issues here? Homelessness, lack of resources and lack of help for those who need it, and a problem across the country which needs to be addressed: the standard of living being raised for those who are most in need, or most in a place which is transitional and could require assistance. It is imperative for the moral standard of the world to have the actual standard of living for each of the citizens of Living Organism Earth at a level which is acceptable. Outside, with no space for belongings, or address for the people who may need to use one, is not acceptable, nor is exposed to the elements acceptable for human beings. Sometimes, as the artist, she takes a photo or write a poem. Sometimes, she calls 911 and ask for the person to get assistance, and at times, taken these people into her own home. It is not okay for anyone to be in the situation of no home, no protection from the elements, and potentially in danger.

- Additionally, the following information which is relevent will be included, and should
- With the request, the information which is above, and that which follows will include:
- It costs $216,000.00 to keep 12 people alive, throughout the winter season alone, with an average cost of $3,500.00 per person for an emergency room visit and that is only based on those people being brought in during the worst of the cold season, and only to keep those people alive, and not address health issues, or shelter and food, etc.
- To make the cost go down to almost nothing, rather than a tent trail of random people doing random things in tents, with propane and diesel heating causing fires, and other issues which cost money and injuries, etc. it would only take the FOW plan.
- The request is a place for 12 people, to start, and for the materials to make the above action-oriented plan to occur. Sheds, heating and cooling without danger, as well as a post office address, composting toilets, compostable area to ensure gardens are supplemented, and the compost has an area to be worked, etc. The request will go through formally, and will save the city more than the $216,000.00 per year which cold weather services for 12 is based on, and when this proves successful, it could be implemented in Boston, for Methadone Mile, as well as LA, for Skid Row, NYC, Baltimore, Atlanta, Chicago, and other places, which will help lower the quantum moral weight across the U.S. and the universe. The need to make the absolute lowest living standard one which includes housing and heating or cooling plus some basic services, etc. available to humans is paramount, and the plan and availability of resources which can be directed thereto is existent.
